Where have I been?

I wish I could think of some profound reason for my absence from this place for almost three months, but I really can't think of one. Sometimes I find a need to draw away from something in order to hopefully discover a new freshness about it when I come back.

I've been pretty busy during the past couple of months. Having a job, kids, and a husband makes life busy. Most of it would be kind of boring to write about, however. But since it's my blog and I can write whatever I want, I'll be boring.

My last entry here was one that celebrated my 17th wedding anniversary. The man I love did the dishes and part of the laundry for me yesterday. Yeah. He's a keeper.

My son is on the way to becoming a nutritionist. Tonight he said, "Mom, can I have some potassium?", as he pointed at the bunch of bananas on the kitchen counter. When he starts talking about folic acid I'll loan him out to the health food store here in town. He can be the walking talking health food encyclopedia.

I bought a new pair of shoes last month. Clogs. I haven't worn clogs since 1980 or something. Someone slap me upside the head if I buy a pair of platform shoes, okay?

It's good to see you post again. I made the move into clogs again a couple of years ago, and I've seen some wedge heels that are seriously tempting, but platforms I don[t have to worry about. The knees will veto that even if the eyes do say 'gimme.'

Think about Social Work- there have to be some grants out there for a "displaced worker".
You have always been an inspiration. I promise to visit more often.
Eljazz is still blogging.
I took almost three years out of the classroom to train teachers- but found my way back into a special ed position.....LOVE IT.
